November 2004

This month I was in Outlooks. They took pictures at the party I had for the premiere of "Brothers TV" which took place at a local restaurant/bar, and then they took pictures at the election party for my friend Matt Urquhart who ran for Alderman.

I'm still working away at my TV show, as well as acting in murder mysteries and the play that I'm in that tours around to different schools within Calgary. I'm also taking a couple workshops this month at Chinook Animation so I can start getting some voice-over work. As usual I'm keepin' busy, but having fun!

My TV show has managed to get a pretty big following within the Calgary gay community. Firstly, a few of the male winners in our weekly giveaways have told me they are single but don't need the personals membership we give away for men seeking women. Then there was the story on us in Outlooks magazine followed by pictures of the "Brothers TV" premiere party the following month. Now I'm in the current GayCalgary.com magazine. I'm in it for both the "Brothers TV" premiere party and for the election party for Matt Urquhart. Somehow they managed to take some of the worst pics of me I've ever seen, but hey, it's publicity, so I'm not complaining!

I've also been hired to act in a Mardi Gras themed party at a lesbian bar on New Years Eve. The owner of the entertainment company who hired me told me that the owner of the bar specifically requested me because she said my TV show is very popular!

I've finished up the shows of Seesaw which I acted in at different junior high schools around Calgary. It was a lot of fun. The director has now hired me to teach two film/television courses starting in the New Year, which I'm really looking forward to. I'll post more details about that when all the details are settled.

I got some pics back from Rhythm of Peace, the show that I acted in back in September. It was a one night sold out performance and I was the lead actor, but didn't have any lines. And that's about all I'm gonna say about that!

And of course "Brothers TV" continues to air each Friday night, and we're getting hundreds of visitors to our web site every week as well as being recognized occasionally in public. That's really cool, and we've even got some actual fans too who are regular viewers, which is really awesome. We also got another story in the media. Click here to read it.

We have "Brothers TV" t-shirts now too. We're selling them for $15. They come in small, medium, large, and extra large. Buying one really helps us out by raising money for the show, and helping to promote it. If you're interested in having one please contact me!
