My brother Andy & I went to LA for another Pitchfest! We went with a friend of mine who was pitching an idea she has for a movie. Andy & I met with about 15 producers and broadcasters. They had a lot of positive things to say so we're hopeful they'll like the demo and help us develop our show further. We got to do a 3 minute pitch infront of a panel of about 5 of them and infront of an audience of other pitchers, and it went really well. So well in fact that we had people coming up to us constantly through the rest of the day saying things like "oh, are you the brothers that everyone is talking about?"

At the Pitchfest we met another Canadian who's actually a bit of celebrity already. Her name is Sandy and she was on the first season of The Lofters (U8TV). I recognized her from the show when she did her pitch infront of the panel. I walked up to her afterwards and we started talking and before you knew it, we were all hanging out for the next couple days!

This time Andy & I decided to make the most of our trip to LA and stay a few extra days after the Pitchfest ended. We went to the Price is Right, Dr. Phil, and The Late Late show. We had a lot of fun going to them and got on camera a tiny bit in all 3... mainly as little blurry people in the background, but hey, we were happy about it!

Otherwise this month I've been spending a lot of time videotaping and editing various things including a play, a theatre sports competition, and a demo reel for an actor/singer. That business venture is really taking off on it's own, which is cool because I enjoy it and it pays quite well too!
