Happy Summer!
I think it's summer... right? Well, in Calgary you never know... one day it snows, the next it's hot & sunny... or sometimes both in the same day! Regardless, May has been another busy and productive month for me - spring flew by and I'm sure the summer will do the same!
The highlights of May included:

- being on the front cover of the Calgary Herald! A photograph of me on my cell phone was right on the front of the Saturday paper - above the fold even! I had to share the limelight with Paris Hilton. We're both media whores though so it was a good match. See the pics and story at www.joshrimer.com/press16.html.
- writing the second season of Brothers TV. I have a great team of writers who've joined me & my brother to write 4 new episodes of our indie TV series Brothers TV. We're really pumped about the great ideas coming out of our meetings - this next season is going to knock the first one out of the water!
- gave away $300 US through the The $1000 YouTube Experiment video. My video has really taken off and it's currently the #7 most discussed video of all time on YouTube! It's getting over 1000 comments a day and the amount continues to grow as more people find out about it. I'll be giving away another $100 tomorrow by the looks of it!
- continuing to teach acting classes for kids through Centre Stage Theatre Company and perform puppet shows for Puppets for Peace.
Otherwise, I've had some video gigs including my first wedding of the season, and a bit of work acting at the Medical Skills Centre as a Standardized Patient.
News on what's coming up:

- videotaping (and reporting on) the Calgary Pride parade & fair for OUTtv.
- finishing the writing of Brothers TV as well as all pre-production work in June so we can shoot all 4 episodes in July.
- my big birthday bash on June 23 will be at "The Red Room" which is downstairs at Karouzo's (2620 4th St. NW). It starts at 8:00pm and we'll have karaoke by the one and only Stevioki until about 10:30pm when we'll pass it off to my brother (DJ Kosherkid) to spin some great dance tunes so we can boogie the night away!
- videotaping more weddings & more YouTube videos (including of course giving away more money)!
Other than that I'm just looking forward to my upcoming trip to New York. I'll be seeing some broadway musicals of course and otherwise just having some fun in the city that never sleeps, to get ready for a month of little sleep when we shoot our new Brothers TV episodes!
Ciao for now and thanks for staying up to date!
