I'm going to be a go-go dancer at the "Reaching Up & Out" Pride dance. I used to be a go-go dancer in Sydney at a club there and for a brief time at The Palace Nightclub here in Calgary. Those were both paid jobs, while this one is a volunteer gig, but it's more exposure and a lot of fun!

After months of preperation on BROTHERS, the television program that my brother and I created, I had my first meetings with producers and broadcasters at the Great Canadian Pitchfest in Banff.

I met with a total of 15 different companies and decision makers. The responses were great. A lot of people liked our idea and saw potential in it becoming a television series. I got a lot of positive feedback and some good advice.

The next step now is to put together a comprehensive proposal as well as a detailed layout describing individual episodes. We also need to put together a short high quality video demo showing examples of what we plan to do in the show.

The latter is the most difficult task of course due to the cost. To have the right equipment, crew, and supplies we'd be looking at spending at least $5000. For now I have completed a 20 page detailed proposal, I'm working on the episode layout, and my brother and I are making a home video style demo to at least have something to show to potential producers and others who are interested in getting involved with our show.

We are actively seeking funding from anyone who believes in our project and sees the money making potential. If you, or someone you know, is interested in helping turn our concept into a successful television program, please contact us!
