On the day of the Calgary Stampede Parade we walked along the parade route in some crazy cowboy costumes and handed out flyers for our show. It gave us some great publicity (about 50 people went to our web site that day and the next) and was a lot of fun. One of our volunteer camera operators taped us as we went and we'll probably use some of the footage in our show opening.

The production of our show in general has been a very long and time consuming process. We work every day and evening on it and still are way behind where we thought we'd be. But seeing as we're doing the jobs of about 10 different people, I suppose it's understandable. It certainly is a great learning experience for both of us anyway!

Even thought it's a ton of work, I'm really enjoying working on the show and the more we shoot, the more excited I get about it. We've made a deal with Access Television to broadcast our show throughout the province on Friday nights at 1:30 starting on October 1st. Now, in addition to all the work with producing the show, I'm also back to working on getting advertisers and sponsors. I'm feeling pretty optimistic as we have two already, and it's pretty cheap since we're only asking for enough to cover our costs so it's obviously a lot cheaper than most other advertising.

Other than working away on that, I've booked myself some work with Out of Our Heads. I'll be doing a couple of gigs for them the first weekend in August.
