Hey Trenders! Today’s Top Trending Topics video episode tells us what people are saying about  British TV show host Piers Morgan. CNN recently announced that Morgan, who won in The Celebrity Apprentice (Season 7 of hit US TV show The Apprentice), will replace Larry King when Larry King Live ends on January 2011. Some people find Morgan a welcome addition to the CNN team, while some, on the other hand, simply see him as a vulgar synonym for the female genitalia.

People are also talking about Google Instant. Google found yet another way to improve its already #1 search engine by coming up with a search feature that shows results as users type what they’re looking for.  Just another way they’re securing themselves at the top.

And finally, we get to read tweets about #WhoToldYou. We learn some valuable things from our trenders, like why it isn’t wise for big women to go around the neighborhood without wearing a bra.

In today’s Top Trending Topic episode, we’re informed about the reason Soulja Boy‘s career would never measure up to Rihanna’s and why people are talking about him on Twitter. The 20-year-old rapper and record producer, who became famous because of his self-released hit song “Crank That (Soulja Boy),” tweeted about 15 different insults and threats to another rapper, Fabolous. Soulja Boy quickly removed the tweets, but not before thousands of people saw them.

We also hear what people are saying about Hoarders, the reality TV show about people who find it hard to let go of belongings (like cartons of expired milk and dried goods, to name just a couple). A & E ran a marathon on the series in the US and that got a lot of people talking about it.

And for today’s hashtag, a lot of people are also talking about #ifihadonewish. Oh imagine, for just a moment, if you could wish for anything, what would it be? Check out the video to see what other people chose. 

Entertainment is all about coming up with good material that gets attention and a reaction, and that is exactly what I was trying to do with the comedy videos that were meant to be part of the second season of Brothers TV. We knew people had high expectations for a TV show, not just from the performers but also for the quality of the content. In the end we gave up on the TV process and since I’m all about YouTube now, it just made sense to release them there instead.

The latest video, H.O.M.O. – the gay bank, is one of my favorites from this series of sketches. Watching a bank commercial is always a bit of a guilty pleasure (like watching a train wreck) and so we played around that idea for this skit.  We made it about a bank that caters specifically to gay men because really, why not take one stereotype (what we think of bank commercials) and mix it with another stereotype (what we think of gay men).  Sounds like a recipe for comedy to me!

You may be familiar with the Capital One campaign that ran for a while about bankers always having their hands in your pockets.  Well, that’s what started off this video.  What would it be like if having bankers hands in your pockets wasn’t such a bad thing…

My videos have definitely become more and more risque, but it’s not by accident.  A lot of people found my Father Lover video pretty offensive for its raunchy lyrics and subject matter, and it’s turned out to be one of my most successful videos with over four hundred thousand views. While Father Lover sparked some debate and got flack from some people, it did encourage a lot of interaction among the viewers.

So go ahead and check out this latest video and if I’m lucky, it’ll offend you at least just a little bit and maybe you’ll leave a comment and tell a friend.

In today’s Top Trending Topics video episode, we get to learn more about Justin Bieber through the eyes of Beliebers and haters alike. Today on Twitter, people are talking about One Less Lonely Boy. The trending topic was based on a prank Justin Bieber’s sound crew did during his concert last night. Instead of having a girl on stage, the crew sent an old guy with a tiara on his head to come up while Bieber sang “One Less Lonely Girl.”

Bieber also made it to tweets about #unlikeothergirls, where women are sharing things that make themselves or other women they know break the stereotype.

People have also been talking about J♥nas… with a heart instead of the O. Fans found a sneaky way to get the Jonas brothers on the trending topics, and we learn how it has caused a headache for most of them… or at least one.

In Friday’s Top Trending Topics video episode, we learned the approximate size of Ben Roethlisberger’s package… so to speak. Roethlisberger was suspended for violating the league’s personal conduct policy reduced from only six to four games.

People were also talking about #lessonlearned. Trenders have seized the opportunity to come clean about their mistakes, and we learn from them, among other things, the worst time for a guy to eat a chili dog.

And finally, people were talking about the long weekend in the US and Canada. We read rants and raves about the three days off people were about to have.

In today’s Top Trending Topics video episode, we see that the Galaxy Tab, Samsung’s answer to Apple iPad, has the power to destroy quasi-relationships with inanimate objects. Samsung revealed information about its latest product during a press briefing at the IFA electronics fair in Berlin, Germany and people were already going gaga over it.

We also look into what people are also tweeting about British cosmologist Stephen Hawking. Hawking reveals in a new book he co-wrote with an American physicist that God didn‘t create the universe, which sparked a lively debate among scholars and religious fanatics alike.

And finally today, we read about what people are saying about #liesguystell. Dudes aren’t always known for being the most honest people on the planet and people are taking this opportunity to share things that might be heard from men which aren’t often the truth.

As promised, I keep putting up new sketch comedy videos on my main YouTube channel - adding more, regular content is definitely getting more and more people subscribing each day, which is of course the goal! I’m quite happy because all the hard work we put into the videos does seem to be paying off, and I’m also excited to see what happens with the rest now that I’m putting up a new one every Friday.

This one’s called Scalpel-Free Vasectomy, and like the video we posted last Friday, We’d like to tell you about the word of…, Scalpel-Free Vasectomy was also meant to be part of the second season of our TV show Brothers TV, the show Andy & I did a few years ago. Brothers TV, if you didn’t already know, features me and my brother‘s antics, and veers away from your usual gag show formula by adding in comical debates, silly sketches, and interacting with strangers. Watch our earlier videos here.

Interestingly, you will notice that my brother is a natural at portraying women roles and cross-dressing. Scalpel-free vasectomy shows a man whose exhausted wife won’t sleep with him anymore unless he gets his little spawn factory snipped. Jackson reveals to his highly emotional wife that he’s allergic to scalpels when she tries to make him get a vasectomy.  Left with no options, Jackson heads out on a walk to try to figure out what to do, and finds what appears to be the answer along the way. What is that answer? Watch the video below and you’ll see!

In today’s Top Trending Topics episode we learn that Macaulay Culkin is old (when you consider that most of us still think of him as a little kid), David Yost who played the Blue Power Ranger is gay, and people get easily annoyed with #youknowwhatsannoying:

My friend Ritchie started a team for the Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life and I joined so I could help him raise money for people living with HIV and AIDS.  We’re going to be walking 2 Kilometers along the Seawall in downtown Vancouver – not that tough of a feat really when you consider what a beautiful area that is, but the point is to raise money for a worthy cause and I’m happy to be involved.

But I need your help! So far I’ve raised a measly $15… so I need more!  If everyone who’s reading this just donated $5 there would be hundreds of dollars there so please take a quick moment to donate online.  You won’t have to do anything physical other than take your credit card out of your wallet and type.
