Hello!

The summer is always a very busy time for me, so I wasn't able to get in a separate newsletter for July. Hope you didn't miss me too much.

Here are the highlights from my summer:

- videotaped and reported on the ARGRA rodeo OUTtv.
- appeared on the reality/contest show "The Next Comedy Legend" on CBC and made it to the top 12 in Calgary.
- My YouTube video for the $1000 Experiment hit the #1 spot for most discussed video of all time on YouTube!
- shot 10 new skits with my brother for our TV show. We had an amazing crew and some great extra actors... we can't wait to edit it all together.
- acted as an interacive stockboy and greeter for Sunterra Market's new web site (which isn't online yet) .
- acted as a clerk in a national Safeway commercial (now airing - so keep an eye out for it!).
- did group voiceover work for a movie
- shot and edited numerous weddings and a corporate video.

News on what's coming up:

- applying for a government grant to produce and act in a short film I've written.
- more weddings to shoot and edit
- working again as a standardized patient at the Medical Skills Centre

And, the biggest news of all for what's coming up... I'm moving to Vancouver!!! After years of wanting to go, but staying instead in Calgary to build up my resume and also work on the shows with my brother, it's now time for me to move on to bigger and better things. I'm super excited about going... even though I'll be there just in time for the non-stop rain. I'll be heading over in October. A lot of people that I know have moved out there so I'll already have a network of friends in the biz and even a place to stay!

In the meantime, I've still got a lot to keep me busy before I leave. And I'm still making YouTube videos and contests. My latest one just went up yesterday and is already the #5 most discussed video of the day today. Go take a look here and enter!
