August 2005

I finally have my new site up! Many thanks to my bro Andy for doing most of the template design for me! I think it looks great -- a definate improvement!

Talk about a crazy month! July/August and November/December are always my businest months, but this August has taken the cake!

I got a role with new Dinner Theatre company called Smooth Move Productions. They're doing an improv show about an 80's High School Reunion. I'm playing the nerd and also doing the choreography for a couple dance numbers and a line dance. The show will be running from October until January and possibly after.

I also got into an Improv Comedy Troupe called Laughing Matters. We'll be doing shows that will start mostly as improv, but eventually include sketch and standup. There will be both public and corporatre shows.

On top of that I had a murder mystery, a booth at the Community Theatre Expo (for videotaping services), went to Edmonton and saw 5 Fringe Festival shows, and moved to a sweet new apartment just off of the Red Mile!

And I haven't hit the most exciting stuff yet!! My TV series, Brothers TV, got picked up by a new station! OUTtv, which is in Toronto, will be airing our show twice a week on their network, which is available by subscription on Satellite and Digital Cable. We have great time slots -- Sundays at 4pm (MST) and Tuesdays at 10pm (MST). Andy & I are both really excited to be back on the air!

And... I got a small speaking role in a movie with Matthew Perry!!! He's going to be in town shooting a movie called "The Ron Clark Story". I'll be playing a waiter at a restaurant that his character works at. I have two lines. I can't wait!
